Here at St. John's Home we strive to consistently achieve the highest standards in all areas of our service. Therefore we welcome both formal and informal inspections of the Home and we take comments and suggestions very seriously. To obtain as much feedback as possible we ask for views from residents, relatives, visitors, healthcare professionals and others in a variety of different ways including questionnaires, comment forms, regular meetings and in particular formal inspections.
At this present time we have taken note of the findings of the CQC inspector following the unannounced inspection in December 2012 and we are in the process of converting to an improved software package that has a much more person-centred approach and can be adapted to suit our individual and unique needs.
As part of our policy of continuous improvement, we commissioned a new care management system in April. We also set up an 'Ideas Tree' and we have since received many positive comments about what is special about St. John's Home to help us to maintain these qualities in the future.
