Summer Barbecue A Sizzling Success!!
On Saturday 9th July we held our annual “get-together” for residents, relatives & friends. The sun came out and it was a wonderful day. Every year we seem to welcome more and more friends and this year 140 people joined us! It was lovely to see so many families and young grandchildren and great grand children runningaround the lawns! We have since received lots of compliments from residents and relatives, saying how much they had enjoyed the afternoon.
We raised £2,493.46 for our new Dementia Care Appeal.
Thank you to everyone involved, those who so very kindly volunteered their time to help us both before and on the day … we couldn’t have done it without you all! And a huge thanks to the staff of Caterplus who prepared and cooked all the tasty food!
