The Home stands in three acres of beautiful grounds of the Society of All Saints Sisters of the Poor. During the First World War, convalescent soldiers from the nearby hospital used to come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the gardens.
Today, residents can stroll around the gardens and tree-lined walks, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take tea outside when the weather is fine. The gardens provide a haven of peace and tranquility in the middle of Oxford throughout the seasons…… |
