The sitting room has just been redecorated and refurbished and is equipped with a large flat screen television, DVD and video player, a record player and stereo equipment. An induction loop system is fitted in the room for those with impaired hearing.

There is also a selection of books, records, DVDs, puzzles and games that residents can use.
