The Home stands in three acres of beautiful grounds of the Society of All Saints Sisters of the Poor.
During the First World War, convalescent soldiers from the nearby hospital used to come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the gardens.
Today, residents can stroll around the gardens and tree-lined walks, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take tea outside when the weather is fine.
We also hold social “get togethers” for residents, their families and friends of the Home in the grounds, barbecues and fundraising events for the general public. These are very well attended and enjoyed by all ages, young and old!
The grounds provide a haven of peace and tranquillity in the middle of Oxford throughout the seasons...
