St. John’s Home is a charity and non-profit making concern and we have a very long history of surviving on a shoe-string! Donations given to the Home are used to enhance the lives of the elderly and elderly frail in our care, and are truly gratefully received and appreciated.

Ways to donate:
- Make a single online donation. Click here. Make a tax-efficient secure online donation using your credit or debit card.
- Make a regular monthly donation by direct debit. If you would like to make a regular donation online please click here or alternatively download a Regular Giving Form, fill it in by hand and send it to us at St. John’s Home. Your details will be treated completely securely.
- By telephone. We can also accept donations by credit card over the telephone. Simply call us on 01865 247725.
- By cheque. Please send your cheque together with the completed Donation Form to us at St. John’s Home, St. Mary’s Road, Oxford, OX4 1QE.
Don’t forget to Gift Aid your donations. If you pay either income or capital gains tax, you can now make your gift worth 28 pence more for every £1 that you donate. Simply fill in the Gift Aid Declaration on your Donation Form.
Legacies/ Wills:
An increasing number of us will need care as we grow old. Although there is of course basic statutory provision, we at St. John’s are determined to ensure that we can provide much more in terms of activities, environment and pastoral care. To enable us to do all that we can for our residents, we need your help in the form of gift aid donations and legacies. Making a will gives you the assurance of knowing what arrangements will be made after your death and who will benefit from your legacy. It also means that if you want to leave some money for a special purpose – such as helping St. John’s – you can do so with ease. Click here for more information.
